I suppose the trick to staying pregnant is to
plan on delivering early.
Don't go grocery shopping or make meal plans.
Don't RSVP to Christmas parties.
Don't make appointments.
Don't worry about the laundry.
And if you do all that, you'll stay pregnant forever!
Your family will be combing the pantry and fridge in search of any last morsel of food.
You'll have absolutely nothing to wear (that fits) to a weekend of parties.
Your days will be mind-numbing long.
And your kid will be out of clean underpants!
Needless to say, my plan for today is to start making plans.
Lots of them!
And then, maybe, just maybe, I'll finally deliver this baby.
