A Charming Poop Story

Once upon a dreary February, there lived a precocious four year old boy named Brock. One afternoon, following a viewing of "Underdog" and a snack bowl of pretzels, our hero decided to spend some time in the wilds of his own backyard. He pulled on his white socks and summoned help from the maid, known throughout his little kingdom as Mommy, to tie his shoes and zip up his favorite blue jacket. Upon which he pulled on his flowing red and blue cape and set out for an exciting adventure with his two faithful and furry pals, Max & Meli.

Some time passed, and the noise of the playful canines and the little boy grew silent, alerting Mommy that something may be amiss. She slid open the glass portal to the outside world and peered about the backyard.

Lo and behold, the boy and a popper scooper! Our hero was gallantly scooping up the mess of his two furry buddies and lobbing it into the depths of a giant white bucket. Traditionally, this task was assigned to the other household servant, affectionately known as Daddy.

Puzzled by Brock's sudden interest in yard work, Mommy approached him quizzically and inquired as to young Brock's actions.

The boy looked up with his baby blues and, smiling, replied, "I'm picking up the poop so that Daddy doesn't have to do it when he gets home. He can play with me instead!"

Mommy's heart, metaphorically speaking, melted into a pool of goo at those precious words.

It took about an hour of deep concentration and some elbow grease, but Brock cleared the ENTIRE backyard of poop like any domestic superhero, armed with the trusty pooper scooper, poop bucket in tow!

Brock and Daddy did play that evening as a reward. Two boys and Lego Star Wars.

And that is the melt-your-heart ending to this charming poop tale.
