BATMAN!
BATMAN!
In our quest for the perfect Halloween disguise, we exhausted about 5 different costume websites and thumbed through catalogs over and over again. Mr. Indecisive changed his mind no less than an impressive 126 times and in the end, Brock had narrowed down his costume choices to two: The Red Dragon Ninja (which was a heinous costume) and Batman, the Dark Knight. With a large dose of parental influence and abject, parental pleading, Brock reluctantly chose to go with
Batman: The Dark Knight.
Phew! That was a close one!
And Cami, you ask. Well, she had to coordinate, naturally.
She made an adorable, tutu-clad Bat Baby!
It's become something of a tradition to trick-or-treat with Scott and Alison's kids in Nanay's neighborhood. This year was no different. I packed up my batkids and headed over Nanay and Papa's house shortly before trick or treating was to commence. In vain, we attempted some Halloween photos of the kids. I hope Alison captured better shots than me, as the following are nothing but outtakes-which is all these sugar-hyped, impatient to trick or treat children would give me. Hardly surprising given their excitement!
Trav, Jamin and Libby
And all the Renberg grandkids...

Love this one.
The boys are all smiling (miracle of miracles!) and Libby & Cami are having a chat.
But mostly, the pictures looked like this...
...so we gave up and took the kids out begging for sweets instead.
